If I am working on a bar and I'm happy with all the kick and snare placements, so I don't want any added or removed, is there a way I can say, adjust the openness of the hats using the dial without causing the brain to recompose?
If not, how do I make a feature request that will give us the ability to have just the item we are adjusting recompose and leave the rest of the existing patterns as they are?
Thanks!
PS - I RTFM already! Twice. |

The best I can come up with would be to lock the existing notes that you want, though the brain could still add more of them when it recomposes.
I vaguely recall something about locking entire limbs, maybe by right-clicking on them, but I may just be making that up. |

There's an option to mute limb and to remove limb (it actually says clear limb, but it's more fun to say remove limb).
Maybe different kinds of actions can affect the brain in different ways... like, if you are changing the power of the kick/snare/whatever, then the brain does not recompose, rather just the velocity of that component is adjusted.
Or... maybe... say you like everything about the groove, but you don't like the kick, maybe holding the shift key while any of the kick parameters are adjusted will only recompose the kick and leave everything else alone.
Just some ideas... |
