|
|
As I'm plowing thru the manual I am really falling in love with Jamstix lol!
Quick qu' - Instead of the standard rock "kick - snare - kick -snare" type of rhythm, how can I make the snare lead eg "snare - kick - snare - kick"?
I imagine I have to manually edit the simple rhythm into the bar editor then let Jamstix do its magic over it? Is that correct? |

There's a style called Custom Rock, or something like that, that lets hand-program the kick and snare patterns into the style itself, rather than having to do each bar by hand.
You can also use Extract From Other Style to borrow the kick and snare tools from Custom to use in whatever other style you want. |

Another trick is to make a bar of what you want. Then click on the bar editor Arrowhead and choose to copy the part. Then click it again and choose paste and enter the number of bars you want
I use this sometimes just to say make a quick 8 bar verse etc. |
