Hi, Ralph. I'm trying to map all the elements that are in each style and I thought about something: when I extract from ´Jamstix Classic´, for instance, I only can extract each element once. But that's what would be highly useful to me:

1) Extract ´Kick´ element from JS Classic style;
2) create kick groove and set frequency to ´odd bars´;
3) extract ´Kick´element again, that creates a ´kick(1)´ element;
4) create another kick groove and set frequency to ´even bars´.

Why? Because I mostly use a 4 bar repetition in which I want bars 1 and 3 to be straightforward grooves and 2 and 4 variations of the basic groove, so I can set synco and neutral cells and random them so that only 2 and 4 will create these cells. There must be an even easier way of doing this, but this would solve my problem. Of course, this is useful for other pieces too, kick is an example.

So, essentially, I wish I could extract elements from styles or players more than once and I could use other frequency options like ´rudiment´ have, like every 3rd or 4th bar as well.

-------------------

A second request, that I've been wanting for a long time is a simple Custom style and player. I can save presets even for silent style and player, but I have to extract at last one element from another style/player so I can see ´Silent´ presets. A ´Custom´ style/player with basic elements would be very useful!

Thanks

If you have the metal pack, You can extract the kick a and kick b elements from the u-pick metal 2 bar style, remove the kick elements from the style you are using and save it as a preset. They use the "classic" grid control.

I just did it with the Rock 2-bar style, importing from the metal style, even importing the snare elements.

That's in the AIPak. Good idea, though.

I didn't notice since I just got AIPak. That's what I need for now, thanks, rcraig42!

Even so other elements could benefit of this as well plus adding some frequency options.

Cheers

Well you can set the frequency for any element. But yeah, only odd or even bars, no further.

I tend to put fills every fourth bar so a two bar pattern is as much as I have a need for.

Yeah that was in the bonus included in the AIPack, I meant to say or for that, but forgot.

When extracting an element more than once, just rename the first one after extracting.

Simply perfect, Ralph! I didn't know that, JS is a new product to me now, thanks!

What about new frequency options and custom style and player?

Best regards
