I have been trying the middle eastern styles and see little documentation of them in the JC manual. Specifically in the brain area under groove there are drop down menus of different styles (not the styles selection at the top of the brain area) but I don't know what they are. These were under the 4/4 time sig.
I am not in front of JS right now so can't name them. I also did not notice much difference in the groove when changing them.
Ralph, could you describe them more and how they work etc. Thanks |

The only description for the M-E styles is the one you see in the load style dialog box. The options underneath the style name in the brain menu are presets. They are specific settings of the brain elements for that style. If you tell me style and preset, I may be able to tell you more. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

I see 10 different presets in the brain as well as a random one and was wondering what the differences were or if there was some brief descriptions available somewhere as a help.
I have Style set as ME 4-4 and player is Handy:
Also I see Drum 1, 2 and 3 in the brain each having Sound A, B and C next to the style. How does one know what drum 1, 2 and 3 map to in the kit?
I am getting some nice rhythms and sounds, it would be helpful to have more insight in how etc... so as to be able to control it more fully. |

Drum1, Drum 2 etc. refers to the first, second etc. drum in the Jamcussion kit. I'll see about using full kit names in a future update.
As far as the style presets go (Bambii, Cocek etc.), please google them to get more information. However, experimentation is probably best.
Here is one doc I found quickly on Google:
