Hi,
I'm still using Jamstix 2, I'm gonna get version 3 as soon as i have a bit of spare cash. I recently started using jamstix with Abbey Road drums. I have used the pre made Abbey Road preset which someone posted on this site which works fine. When I right click on the HiHat in the kit view, everything is assigned correctly e.g. "Hi Hat 25%" is assigned to the correct Kontakt note for "Quarter Open Hat", "HiHat 50%" to "Open Half" etc etc.
however when I try and input hihat notes into the Groove Bar, the only input option in relation to Hi-hats is "Hi-Hat"- there is no option to choose the different types of HiHat hit i.e. I cannot select different types of hat hit e.g.Hit Hat 25% or 50%. I realzie drummer have limitations but this is on an empty groove! I've checked the input option for both hands and "HiHat" remains the only input option.
Any ideas why this could be? Every other drum seems to be correctly displayed other than the hat options |

In JS2, use the hihat graphic in the cell sound selector to specify the desired hihat opening level. In JS3 it is done via the HAT knob above the bar editor, which also allows changing multiple notes at once. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
