When loading certain projects (very simple ones in this case - only contain Battery 3 and Jamstix 3.1), Jamstix does not load. SONAR doesn't crash, but throws "Error 216 at HEXADDRESS." Only happening with Jamstix, no other synths or programs, and the machine has been double checked for viruses - clean. This was also happening with the last beta version before 3.1, but I figured an upgrade might fix it.
Now, if I allow Jamstix to crash, then close the project (not SONAR, just the individual project) and reopen it, it works normally.

A second issue: when attempting to bounce down tracks with Jamstix with an externally hosted VST as drum output, Jamstix does not play, and so no sound is produced (and the bounced clip is empty.) If I subhost a drum VST, it works. If I use the internal Jamstix sounds, it works. If I export a MIDI file from Jamstix and use that as the source for my drum VST, it also (obviously) works, but trying to mix down using Jamstix->MIDI out only->VST does not work (it will play - just not bounce down - and will ONLY play after going into the drum VST (Battery in this example) and hitting a note first to "jumpstart" it.))
Thank you. |
