Hi,
can you give us a hint which real kits were used to create the stock kits of Jamstix 2 and Jamstix 3 (for Jamstix 1 it's clear, it's a Yamaha Stage Custom kit).

I don't remember the details on JS2 but I can tell you that JS3 used a newer Stage Custom kit with clear Evans EC2 SST heads on the toms and other Evans heads on snare and kick.
We also have an OCDP maple kit and a ddrum maple kit sitting and waiting to be sampled...

So, does this mean we'll be seeing some new drum sample packs in the near future ?

As soon as we can fit it in the schedule. Our plan is to use a different recording room with a large, dark ambience versus the bright ambience of JS3 stock kits and BonzoPak.
