Somewhere along the line, a while back when I installed an earlier beta I noticed MIDI output no longer seemed to work - and it's still missing now from RC1. I may have done something dumb of course, but MIDI out is definitely enabled, I can see the MIDI out indicator JS's interface is flashing during playback but when I route to a MIDI track input in Cubase, nothing is being received. It used to work fine. Any ideas?

| There's nothing wrong with MIDI output from JS. At least in Reaper. Can't say anything about Cubase because I don't use it, sorry. |

I discovered the same thing in Cubase 5.5.2 64 bit today using JS 3.0, 3.02 update and 3.1 beta on Win 7 64 - no midi data is reaching Cubase even though JS indicates that midi is being transmitted.
I am able to record midi output from another VSTi [Axon], so I know that Cubase does successfully gather midi input data from a VSTi, but not from JamStix unfortunately. |

Ralph indicated in another thread that Cubase won't accept JamStix's midi output due to the VST wrapper Cubase uses in the 64 bit version.
I haven't tried it yet, however it might be a case of recording the JamStix output as a midi file in a 32 bit version of Cubase and then hopping back to the 64 bit version as JamStix does receive and play back the midi data I have found in 64 bit Cubase 5.5.2. |
