Ive got this problem with the 1.2 demo in FL Studio 5 and Cubase SL3

I load jamstix set it up for Freejam then start the sequncer running , it works fine. Howver soon as I close the GUI down it goes silent.

This happen in Cubase SL3 and FL Studio 5, also in Cubase the whole thing poofs out of existence

Strange as the previous version of the demo worked fine.

We'll figure it out. Give us some time, we're on it.

Here are my steps and it works fine for me:

- open FL5 (demo)
- insert Jamstix via 'Channels->Add One'
- click Free Jam and close Jamstix GUI
- hit PLAY and after a a few beats the rhythm starts

Can you check these steps on your end?

Yeah I followed these steps exactly except full version of FL 5.02

open FL5 (demo)
- insert Jamstix via 'Channels->Add One'
- click Free Jam and close Jamstix GUI
- hit PLAY and ........nothing

If nobody else is having this problem then it obviously a problem my end. Somethings changed in my PC set up somewhere along the way.

Im planning on doing a clean install in a couple of weeks, if you dont come across any solutions before then Ill reload it t and see if it works

I had a similar thing going on in Acid Pro 4e with the demo. It worked find with the GUI open, but stopped played when it was closed.

I think I have a similar problem. Using Cubase LE, the Jamstix plays when the Jamstix GUI is showing. When I cancel the Jamstix GUI, the Jamstix immediately quits playing.

Just posted Jamstix X4-10 with a fix for the 'GUI-Open' bug in the demo

Let us know if it doesn't work for you.
