Hey Ralph...
I seem to be having a little problem with the drummers. All of them seem to miss beats when playing (a lot of red crosses show up in the bar), making it very hard to jam with...
I read an earlier thread where someone had this sort of problem and you sent them a .dll ...not sure if this is what i need?
Actually the only "guy" who seems to play with some sort of rhythm is "machine"...
PS..Is there no manual that comes with version 3?

Hey Ralph..
i sent the log via support@rayzoon....
Also, it might be helpful to have that path to the manual somewhere easy to find...all this time searching the forums i was battling to find any info...the manual seems helpful...still some confusing things, but chewing my way through it....
one question...how can i get 3rd party effects on the kick drum??

Uncheck 'Downmix' in the JS3 mixer so drums are sent to different outputs to the host and then you can add FX to output #1 in the host. You can change output assignments in JS in the kit editor (OUTPUT) or use an output template from the kit menu.

Hey Ralph...
I worked out what i was doing wrong...i wasn't using the WIZARD properly. . i had different drummers doing different parts as well as trying to use AD drums...and everything was getting messed up...now i am getting one drummer to do all parts and only routing the kick drum to AD...and it is working fine....
I would however like to change the groove... so i need to figure that out...any pointers????

The easiest way ist to hit RECOMPOSE. Secondly play with the brain parameters to see in what way the groove gets affected.
Do this with different styles.
Thatīs the best way to become familiar with JS (except for RTFM, no pun intended). |

What Doc said. Plus, most drummers and styles have presets displayed in lists at the top of the brain panel. Those will set the brain elements to different settings and will help you get a feel for what you can do in the brain to change the groove.

Gee, easy there gentleman... 
had this piece of software for a couple of weeks now, only found out about the manual a few days ago (because i asked)! What i have figured out has not been through the manual but messing around with it...Not that i haven't been looking at it either!
As i said before, would be great to have a 10-15 min in-depth tut for the newcomers...
Anyhow, it is still a wonderful piece of software...

I have looked at those, must admit though, they don't help much....i mean in-depth tuts!!!
Thing is, if you know J3 its easy, if you don't, it is a lot of hard working it out...
i am moaning i know, guess i should be on J3....'' |
