Hi everyone. I am writing a song where I dont want JS3 to play for the 1st 16 bars. Just the 16th bar needs to be an intro. How do you do this? I cant see a mute button related to bars or parts.
More problematic is a strange problem I am having. In the last part of my song which is an 8 bar verse, JS will only play the first bar but then quit for the rest. I have loaded a midi clip for JS to play along with in the verses that works everywhere else but these last seven bars. I have tried everything but no success. Any advice? |

QIV....
Silence (Q) being 15 bars long with no repetition or 1 bar long with 15 repetition, then 1-bar intro, no? |

Have you checked in your host that it still plays or it stops prematurely? |

No it plays but JS stops doing anything. |

Yes the structure you note is correct. What is QIV? |
A proposed start of your song structure, for wizard to make it:
Q = silence
I = intro
V = verse 1
etc ... |

Total silence. JS progresses through the bars with the sequencer but there is total silence. |

So little info to work with...
Does bar editor show anything?
Did you use envelopes in your host and inadvertently silenced part of your drum track?
Something with kit pieces perhaps?
I'm stabbing in the dark here...  |

Thanks for sticking with me. The bar editor is empty so no hits are being created. No envelopes or silenced parts. Doublt it is the kit pieces because all the other parts are playing. The issue is just within the last seven bars of the last bar. I am at a loss myself. I was just hoping someone has seen this before. Maybe I should remove JS and reinsert it??? |

Have you tried to recompose the whole part? That might help. Or to change style/drummer for the part, just to see if that changes anything? |

Have you tried to recompose the whole part? That might help. Or to change style/drummer for the part, just to see if that changes anything? |
I tried to recompose with no luck. Can try the new drummer. |

Try checking settings for each kit piece you use in these bars. Maybe you silenced or disabled them or set their "busyness" to zero. Or something like that? |
