It does. There are styles and kits geared toward jazz and swing. The upcoming AIPak will expand on that.

About to pull the trigger - but now tell me more about AIPak - how much more do I have to budget beyound the US$99 for V3-XL??

It will be available in Jan 2011 for $29.

Here is a quick demo of the 'Custom Jazz' style and 'Peter' jazz drummer model in AIPak. Sounds are JS3 stock kit with a new jazz mapping from AIPak.
