|
|
I've never seen so much instability in my system, let alone Reaper.
At first I thought it was Kaspersky AV scanning Reaper host32.exe suddenly after I installed Jamstix but I added these apps to the AVs exclusion list and it's still awful. In it's current performance state, Jamstix has made Reaper and music practically unusable.
If there is a workaround to this please let me know.
I'm running Win 7 64, latest Reaper and now Jamstix 3 XL w/ Metal and Bonzo. Bonzo was running while the crashes occur if that helps. Also, the last two crashes occurred while I was naming parts, while playing the track, in Midi Jam mode.
Thanks,
Warren |

I tried it again this morning and it went to GUI then crashed Reaper. I re-started the host and all I get is the default GUI for Reaper.
Do you want to see my most recent rzdlog file?

Please add this line to jamstix3.ini under the [General] section:
BarIconNotes=0
and see if it helps. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Thanks very much Ralph. This has worked for me for about 2 1/2 hours in a single project with zero crashes or freezes.

Thanks, the switch disables the drawing of the notes in the bar icons. We will find the bug and fix it. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

That's good news, I'll fire up JS again and see if I can break it, since I seem to have a talent for that. |
