|
|
Loaded Jamstix 3 to drive SSD in Kontakt 4. What I did is just set Jamstix, on it's own track, to MIDI out, then in Reaper routed the track to the instrument track containing Kontakt 4 instrument.
Working(kind of), but every few bars it completely change the assignment in Kontakt, like it turns the Overhead and Room OFF, then Kontakt loose track of what audio channels is supposed to go where(assignment show up the same, but audio doesn't go where it says it's supposed to).
Using Reaper 3.73(x86) on Window 7x64, Kontakt is full, latest version.
I have no such kontakt problems when playing MIDI files from Groove Monkey, or when I play drums with the keyboard.
Also, when I record Jamstix MIDI output, seems there's a bunch of MIDI CC data in there?
Help? |

For whatever reason (I never figured it out), Jamstix is sending out C0 and/or C#0, which Slate apparently uses as a "Reset my room settings" command.
On your Kontakt track, add Reaper's JS midi_note_filter before Kontakt and set the two options to be passing "2: D0" and "127: G10". Problem solved. |
