Jamstix in Reaper 64 bit seems to be a problem

Erratic behavior not exhibited in Sonar 32 bit. Keep getting 'Reaper_host32.exe has stopped working' message when I try to change kits, or do some other editing, and the UI will change to the Reaper generic UI, and won't go back to the Jamstix UI. Also, noticed that I can't trigger some sounds with my midi controller keyboard. Any one else having these problems?

I am running Jamstix in Reaper 64 on Windows 7 with no problems. Maybe post some more specifics on your setup and some of the power users around here can help.

Thanks, Ralph. Version 3.1 Beta 5, and 3.0.2. I'm having the proble in Reaper and in Sonar. Usually the error message sys "Fault module StackHash_2264, but the last time it happened, it said 'Fault module: Sample Tank" which is in the project. So far, only having the problem in the project I am currently working on. Thanks, Milt. BTW, I'm running Reaper 64 bit, and Sonar 32 bit. EDIT: Just tried loading a different version of the drum track in my current project, and the Jamstix fx window closed, when I opened it up again, the Reaper generic UI was there, and Jamstix would not do anything. I have to remove Jamstix from the track fx, and reload it. EDIT again, just got Jamstix to play in the afore mentioned project, but this time, it just abruptly stopped about a third of the way into the song, and the generic UI appeared again in the fx window. I hope this helps!

When I get GUI problems it's usually down to damaged video card drivers.Look for updated drivers and /or re-install the drivers fresh.

Is there any news about this topic?

I am running JS 3.02 under Reaper 64bit and I encounter the same UI problem as mentioned earlier here.

Is there a fix?

It is worse with 3.1.5 beta so I do not use it anymore.

I do not have these problems with Reaper 32bit.

We may have a fix for it. Please see if beta 8 (out soon) fixes it for you.
