Well, This is probably one of those things that's so easy I can't see it. I want to be able to click on one of the song parts, chorus, verse, bridge, and start the drums playing from that point. Can you do this? I can't find it in the manual.
I know JS is tied to the host, but sure would be nice to start playback in JS at a certain point.
Thanks

I don't think you can do that in JS unless you keep the host running in the background, which obviously doesn't work if you have other parts of the song recorded.
What i do is place markers in the timeline of the host corresponding with the start of the song parts in JS, ( not ideal but its a work around ) and use the markers to jump to the sections i want to work on.

| I use Reaper and just put a marker at each start point and that makes it VERY easy to use. I just make sure Jamstix is lower on the screen so I can see my marks, click on the one I want, and that's it. |

REAPER here as well
its also handy to use the number keys along the top of the keyboard to quickly jump to the part you want, well, the first 9 anyway.

Reaper user here as well.I insert Markers in reaper for all my parts like intro/verse/Chorus etc.Make sit easy to work on sections.
I also find the use of colours on the tracks helps immensely
