I'm just curious why Jamstix supports plugin subhosting. Shouldn't all modern hosts have the ability to route MIDI events from a VSTi into a soft-synth?

When this was designed, some hosts couldn't do it or it was cumbersome. Secondly, it's simplifies things by doing the routing/setup for the user automatically.
