Hello Rayzoon,

As a recent customer, first I want thank you guys for such a great product.
I really enjoy using it and it does the job fairly well.

I use Multitrackstudio 6.21 and Jamstix 3.0.2. The problem is that when I open the Jamstix window and press the MTS button "Output" (in the upper right corner of the same window, which allows access to individual channels) it opens, but as soon as I move the mouse it closes up. Very once in a while it stays open, yet I didn't manage to discover the sequence of events that makes that happen.

So, I kindly ask you to check out this issue.

Many thanks in advance.

Gig

Intentionally re-edited:

I am really sad and dissapointed to say that Jamstix 3.1 beta 5 has been released and that it didn't fix the bug I reported a long time ago.

Thank you anyway.

Regards.

As a matter of fact, I already did Smile and it allowed me to record all that I had to smoothly throughout these 3 months while I was hoping the bug that I reported would be fixed when promised, so I could keep on using Jamstix in my projects. Saddly, I am still waiting...

By the way, I am glad that you don't have any problems with Jamstix.

Have a nice day, too Wink

Hi Giga_byte, I am sorry for your frustrations with JS and MTS. If you could send me the file rzdlog.txt from My Documents\Jamstix3, I'd like to take a look at it and see what we can do about the problem.

The log shows 3.0.2 so please do this:

- rename jamstix3.dll to jamstix3.dll.302
- download Jamstix 3.1 Beta 5 and place its jamstix3.dll in the same place
- run the host and see if it is fixed
- make sure JS3 shows 3.1 beta 5 in the interface

Hi Ralph,

I have done this when JS 3.1 Beta 5 first came out. Did it again a couple of days later, just in case. I did it yesterday once more. The issue persists and JS3 keep showing v3.0.2. As a reference, the date of the jamstix3.dll is 19/10/2010 12:26 and the size is 2.464.768 bytes.

Any other idea, then maybe trying to reinstall it and overwrite the .dll afterwards?

Gig

I've just checked my jamstix3.dll and it's the same as the one you posted but my JS in the GUI shows 3.1 Beta 5.

Do a search for jamstix3.dll and see if you have duplicates?I only have the one in my Jamstix folder but add the path to it in my DAW(Reaper) in the preferences/VST section and rescan.

Thank you, too, Ralph for your understanding, patience and willing to help. So far it looks like the issue is solved. I hope not have to bother you again.

Best Regards,

Glad I could help and that it worked out Smile

I really like Jamstix and have nothing but respect for Ralph and don't like people having problems with it.
