I can't find a post on this, so I'll ask... :0

I'm not sure I understand exactly how the 'Load Filter' option works. Due to my limited experience with JS3, I may be overlooking the nuances of it's operation. However...

When loading a kit in general, changing the Load Filter doesn't seem to do anything, and then #2, if I'm trying to build a kit, and load just 'Percussion' or 'Non-Percussion' to an existing kit, it seems to just load the new kit I've selected.

I want to just build a new kit of parts and pieces from other kits and then save it, but I seem to be doing it all wrong...

As a computer programmer who no longer programs (asm, c, basic, sql) this program just blows my mind... thinking about how it's coded gives me a headache....

Setting the filter to "Non-Percussion" loads all drum pieces but no Jamcussion pieces. "Percussion" does the opposite. If you wish to mix drum pieces, load the base kit (Non-percussion) and then use filters like 'Toms' to extract parts of other kits into it.
