In the installer, the first install folder for Jamstix 3 defaults to C:\jamstix.

Can you tell me what goes into that folder so I can decide which one to use? This is on Windows 7, and I don't think that Windows 7 is keen on writing to folders at that level.

Later on, the installer prompts for the VST folder, browsing to that one is OK. And the VSTi is 32-bit, isn't it?

The first location is where the data will go so that should be on a fast, non-OS drive if possible. The second location is where the plugin goes so the host(s) can see it. And, yes, it's 32-bit but works well with Sonar 64, REAPER 64 and jBridge.

I thought I would double-check before proceeding.

All done, and I have run the Migration Tool and copied my JS1 accents and rhythms into the JS3 folders too.

I did notices that there are some kits in JS2 that are not in JS3. For example Funk/Dampened, Rock/Dry and Rock/Hot Rods Dry. Are they now redundant or can I copy those across too?

They were replaced with new kits in JS3 but you can copy them over if you want.

I'm sorry but under Win7 there is no Folder Jamstix3 in the 'My Documents'-folder.
I have an image of my old Win XP-Installation. There i can find this folder and the document you need.

Yeah, but there's no folder Jamstix with that file in it! That's true.
I used the Windows search function also the Mac search function. I can't find this file. I searched several times.

I'm sorry!

I uninstalled jamstix and installed again bit there's no change. But i can load the audioM8-plugin.

Please do this:

- re-download JS3 installer from your download page
- run via right-click->run as admin

See if that fixes it. You will also NOT have to run the updater after this.

If you ran the installer, you should now have a running Jamstix 3.0.2. If not, tell me what is happening, i.e. host doesn't list it etc.
