Hi all,
just to bring up that question again. If you look over the sales statistics for macs you can see that they have really exploded in the last year. That's why I want to bring up that question about a native Jamstix version for OS X again.
I am sure it is not only me that changed from PC => Mac and maybe if everyone who's interested leaves a message for Ralph he will think about that "new" product?
!! Please leave your message here !!
Kind regards from Germany

I'd love a Mac solution as well and I know Ralph has it square in his sights. Just thought I would dogpile I'd hate to see it get prioritized below some of the other things on Ralph's overflowing plate. I REALLY love Jamstix and wish it were easier to use with Logic.

| Yeah I won't nag, as I'm not in a huge rush... but it would be a beautiful sight to see. |

The very reason Im keeping my PC license current is for this to happen.
And I will upgrade in a "heartbeat" once my imac can run JS. |

Yepp.
Reading through the forum the version for Mac was announced for later this year. And this was in August 2009.
Ralph, don't get me wrong, but I think it is time to put out something all Mac-Users can work with by now.
A lot of users said, that they would pay for a Mac-Version, what makes me believe, that there is a great interest in an AU.
I don't know the background, but f. E. Roger Linn cooperated for his new AdrenaLinn Sync Plug In with Way Out Ware.
So, if one can't do all that stuff alone, why not get someone else into the boat.
I know that Ralph has to much to do at the same time and I really don't want to bother him. He is really working hard on making Jamstix perfect and easy to use and does the best job in support I know.
But perhaps a cooperation with someone who knows Mac OSx asleep could help developing (translating) Jamstix for Mac quicker.
Or, what would be a very great idea IMO:
A combination between Roger Linn's planned idea of the new Linn-Drum and the great brain from Jamstix. |
