I got Jamstix about 2 or 3 weeks ago and it was running fine, then for
some reason it would show red x's and there was no sound. I should
have stopped and asked for help at this point but I didn't and now I think
I have made things worse. when I open a project now it tells me it
cannot find the data directory. I see the data folder in the jamstix 3 folder
so I don't really know what it is asking me. Please help. Thanks,

Let's fix the data issue: when JS3 prompts you for the location, browse to it and double-click on the DATA folder. If it continues to ask for the location in a loop, please reinstall JS3.

Once the data issue is fixed and you still see the red crosses, please move your mouse over one of the crosses and tell me what reason is listed in the status line.

Hi Ralph and thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I did browse to
the data file and it did as you said, ask for the location in a loop. Now
I still have the rar files, jamstix3 1 of 2 and jamstix3 2 of 2 and jamstix
2 stock kits and the jamcussion rar. I think I may have accidentally
deleted the rest somehow. I hope this is not a problem. The purchase
was made by my wife Diana Remington as she is the one with the
credit card. Thanks.

My problem is that she deleted the email that the download link came on,
but she did make a paper copy before she deleted, so I have the license
keys still but I have no way of linking to the download site. Thanks again
