maybe it was already covered before but anyway:

Now that we have a virtual drummer it would be very usefull to make it "stand alone". Is this planed, possible?

SAVIHost is an easy and free way to have a stand-alone Jamstix.

Yes, it's pretty neat. Just copy savihost.exe to your jamstix folder and rename it jamstix.exe.
