Ralph, I'm trying to subhost Battery 3 (B3) in Jamstix 2.5.1
I have this set up in my laptop and am trying to get it set up in the new DAW as well running XP.
I go to the kit page, and select subhost...double click on Select DLL and navigate to the VSTi folder where the B3 DLL file is stored.
When I select it and click, I get a pop up that says: Cannot load module because it requires at least 16 outputs. Please adjust JS outputs accordingly and restart JS for the change to take effect.
I even went to the option in B3 and reset the output to 1 stereo audio out.... I still get the pop up.
I have looked all over JS but obviously not in the right place.... in the load kit screen, I clicked the small green triangle for the drop down for output routing.... I have 1, 4,7& 8 as options but not 16.
What do I need to do next? I forget what I did last time to get this aspect working. I like to host the B3 kits in JS. |

work around.... I browsed the forum and this worked.... I compose a track with JS.... export it as midi.... import it to a new midi track and use it to drive B3.....
that worked but I know I can host B3 in JS in my lappy.... the workaround is ok but not ideal. |

Please increase the outputs in the JS2 mixer window. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

OK did that... it works....
but now when I open JS I get an access violation at address 2162ECB9 in module jamstix2.dll Read of address 0000000C
never mind...A re-boot seems to have solved this..... now...
How to save the B3 kits so JS can open them from the Battery kits list in JS. |

Click "Save Kit" and save to that folder. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Please send me rzdlog.txt from My Documents\Jamstix 2 and tell me exactly when the pop-up occurs, i.e. what is the thing you do before it happens. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
