I'm sure I'm just doing something wrong, but this is driving me batty.
I'm trying to set things up so that I can audition different drummers without there being very much fill stuff. I'd like to be able to set very basic grooves, decide which drummer has the best feel on the basic groove, then add fills in later.
I set up a song in parts, with a simple beat in each part.
I choose a drummer.
I go to a part/fill screen and set the fill behavior like I want (basically everything turned way way down). I copy the fill settings and manually paste them into all other parts.
I also have to manually go to the brain dropdown on each part to turn off "Start Fill With A Crash", "End Fill With A Crash" and "Suppress Groove During Fill" for each part.
After all this, if I change drummers, all these settings are gone and I have to start over again if I want to hear the new drummer without a lot of fills.
Is there a better way? |
