|

Hello!
I really like all the groove options for kick, snare and hihat. But I still don't know how to make a drummer use the cymbals in a realistic way.
Am I missing something here?
I know that some drummers have a "cymbal" option in the accent section. But raising this value makes him use the cymbals in a very weird way - in my opinion.
So, for example, if I use the "8th Rock" groove with "Lars".
How can I tell him to use a crash cymbal at the first beat of every bar? Or at beat 1 and 3 of every bar? Or on beat 1 of every second bar?
Is that possible?
Thanks,

| If you are happy with the other elements of the groove, you can create a groove with just the cymbals. Save the cymbal groove, then add the groove element into the part. Add a priority control to that element and rotate it counterclockwise all the way to make sure he hits the cymbals rather than anything else. |

You can always manually add the cymbals via the bar editor to the core bars of a part. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Thanks for your answers.
I have always added them manually so far, but I asked myself if there is a better, more automated method for cymbals.
I don't know if I am the only one who thinks that way but it would be very cool if we could control crash and ride cymbals in the same way as the HiHat.
Just listen to drummers like Nico McBrain (Iron Maiden) or Alex Van Halen (Van Halen) and you know what I mean
