RC4 is now out with cursor fixes in compact GUI mode and some liveloop enhancements.
Please report any issues as we'd like to push this one out soon officially. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

| OK Ralph, so far so good! A noticeable performance improvement (on a netbook). |

|

Hi Ralph-
No change in what I reported above:
| Susan G wrote: | RC3 - Two quick things.
I loaded a Jamcussion demo (West Africa) and:
1) It says the Drumsticks sound is missing. I know I've seen that mentioned before, so I'll go back through this thread in a bit unless someone remembers offhand why that happens.
2) When I go to the Kit window the contents pane is empty until I switch to another kit and back.
Video:

It doesn't matter what kit I select first; the contents are never visible when I go to the select kit window until I switch away from it and back.
Thanks-
-Susan |

-Susan | Hi Susan, I have the full version of Jamcussion I can't find (West Africa) anywhere. (Nevermind West Africa is a JS2 demo) |

Hi Sonic Boom-
I have 7 Jamcussion songs in my \data\songs folder:
But I just used West Africa as an example -- the kit contents pane is always empty when I first bring it up. I have to switch to another kit before I see anything listed.
Not a big deal, but I figured I'd mention it since it seems similar to the other refresh issues folks brought up.
BTW, those Jamcussion songs are all date-stamped 5/4/2010, FWIW.

All of the songs that show up in my JS3 \data\songs folder (and Quickstart) have the .J2D extension, including new ones I created & saved in JS3. I just happened to pick that one.

The JC patch is old and not necessary anymore. Full JC installer has had this patch for a long time now.
'No kit contents text shown on kit dialog open' is a known issue and will be fixed in RC5. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

|
|
I installed RC_4 but it doesn`t seem to recognize the Sounds (All sounds missing). I unistalled, then uninstallt the previous version reinstalled and tried to import the PAKS but got the message: Cannot create file ....\sounds\Drumsticks - JS3-a09.RTK.
Couldn`t reload the PAKS from the download site either.
What to do?
Thx
P.S. Cubase 5.5 and Windows 7 32 bit here |

Just posted RC5:
- locked notes now take priority over non-locked notes on the same tick
- fixed lock up when using brain accent randomizer or accent list arrows with certains styles or players
- several minor fixes
