When I go to load kits menu, at the bottom of the list like in other catagories (load style, etc) it has a preview button. I click on this and then click on different drumkits but cannot hear anything. How does the preview drumkits work. I am using JS3.

The preview doesn't makes sounds, it just loads the new kit into the kit window so you can look at it.

I have never used that feature before, but the preview icon certainly suggests that you might click on the individual items and here them

You must have the song playing, then click 'Preview' and then click a kit.
