Jamstix 3.0.2 RC2. Using a JS1 imported style 8th Rock more kick with Charlie and some CC automation of the power knob.

I have played the song all the way through and then drag and dropped the song name in the JS3 song panel to my host in order to get the midi there for further editing (JS3 to then go into drum module mode).

Midi (C2?) Kick events are missing even though they exist on the JS3 bar editor and play when not in drum module mode. Usually it is the first kick in a bar that's missing from what I can make out - so it's rather obvious. And it was all going so well... Tried the export midi file menu option but same behaviour results.

Does anyone else notice this or am I in a minority of one?

Just tried the song structure that comes up in the wizard when you first run JS3 up. Played it through, exported the midi, bars 3, 4, 5, 6,7,8,9 have nothing on the first beat. Then on Bar 10 notes start to appear in the midi file on the first beat which is when the chorus starts. Problem then resurfaces at bar 24 (which is not a part boundary) and then continues to the end of the song.

Nevermind. Found the bug. This happens with medium/high latencies. Will be fixed in RC5. Until then, work-around is to record MIDI output in the host while JS plays versus drag/drop or export.

Yes, I had a Eureka, or was it a Homer Simpson(?) moment with that work around yesterday. With the help of midi yoke I am exporting midi.
Thank you for finding the problem - look forward to RC5.
