Hey, focal_press. Here's what I do to load Jamstix in FL. I'm using Jamstix 3 and FL Studio 9.1.
1. Put FL Studio in Song Mode. Very important.
2. Load Jamstix (Channels -> Add One -> More... -> Jamstix)
3. Create a quick song in Jamstix using the Wizard button. Anything will do for this test.
4. In Jamstix, click the Kit tab and click the "Open the Kit Menu" down arrow. Pick an output routing you like.
5. In FL Studio, click the Wrapper Settings in the Fruity Wrapper (upper left corner; next to the down arrow). It looks somewhat like a gear.
6. Click on the Processing tab and then click the Auto Map Outputs button. This will map the multiple outputs of Jamstix to several FL Studio mixer tracks.
7. Press Play in FL Studio. You should hear Jamstix and see several mixer tracks lighting up.
8. Go back into Jamstix and edit the kit and song to taste.
You might want to save the setup as a FL Studio preset.
I hope this helps.
Pictures or video would help; maybe later. |

midi is routed... A big thanks for that
just few more things to clear...
a)now when i clicked on the play button in song mode there was drum pattern playing...
so i went back again and i clicked preview button .... after i did that ...
only the first verse of the song played ... why doesnt it continously create the rest of the parts ... do i have to click on every other verse and then click the preview button..??
b)after the grooves play ... how do i send them to the piano roll ... if i drag a verse groove into the piano roll its doesn't play the sounds ...
I have used ezdrummer but this wasnt the case with ez drummer.. hte grooves used to play after i dragged them |

i have found thw way through ....
i was incorrectly dragging the verse part...rather i should have dragged the part in the song section where the drummer and style have been indicated...
so there is only one more wuestion left ...
do i have to click the rectangular box everytime to generate a new as in the verse 1 verse 2 verse 3 section ... isnt there a way that the whole song generates in one go .... |
