I’m using Jamstix’s internal sounds. I think I’ll start playing around with assigning different outputs to the sounds. The manual says, “This is very useful to apply different compression to different sounds and to use different effect plugins in the sequencer.” I also think it would be interesting to play with the stereo field to widen things out a bit.
Is anyone else doing this? What sounds do you apply to each output? I’m thinking of putting the bass drum on one, snare and tom’s on another, cymbals and chimes on another, etc. Does this make since? |
