Okay, so after getting EZDrummer and the Latin percussion EZX with Jamstix 3, just for some elements that jamcussion doesn't have. And reading and searching trying to figure how to map just one of the percussion elements to the EZX vibraslap.
I finally found the only way (so far) was by creating a kit and then editing the text in the kit file to the correct midi note number. It would be much easier if the option to pick the note number was available in the kit screen I think.
btw, what is the proper header for EZDrummer in the jamstix3.ini file? Would it be [EZDrummer] or [dfh Sampler]?
Also it would be nice if I could somehow use some of the jamcussion style elements for the percussion player on the regular side. The existing tamborine element there is pretty limited. Though writing this I think maybe I can find some better elements in the regular side's latin styles..... hmmmm I guess I'll check in the meantime.
As always thanx for writing such a great program! |

Did you pick an articulation in the kit editor? That will give you the MIDI key option.

WooHoo, knew I was probably missing something, thanx!
Still would like more pattern choices for the tambourine on the regular side though, kind of like the choices for the cowbell, unless I'm missing something again
or maybe include the percussion instruments in the redirection element. |
