I am just interested why the P - pre chorus function is treated slightly differently in that VVPPCC will result in a song structure being built of Verse, Pre-chorus 1, Pre chorus 2, Chorus. So the VVs and CCs are glued together but the pre choruses are not.

In JS3, a Pre-Chorus is assumed to be a 'monolith' block of one rep.
