Great news! You really responded to this issue quickly. Very Happy

Since I already purchased DirectiXer and that seems to be taking care of the problem just fine, is there any advantage to using Cakewalk's wrapper instead?

No, DirectiXer still has the advantage of the MIDI output which CW VST does not provide.
