OK. JS3RC1 taken through paces and all of my issues fixed. No power knob problem, no problem with subhosted guis, all the new drummers rock (esp CHAD). The two bar style is something I wanted all along, but never realized (I love the bricktent substyle . I can't make the thing hiccup. Ralph we have a winner. - Thanks! Brad |

Hi, Ralph. I've noticed that while I'm previewing the current bar in a loop and ' auto' is set, most of the times changing elements doesn't recompose the whole bar, just a part of it, and no definite part, it seems random (although the gap tends to be in the middle). And while ībarī is set, it recomposes an even smaller part of the bar or does not recompose at all.
Finally the CC4 is being sent correctly, although I have one more small request regarding this topic. Maybe for coherence, other hihat keys (25%, 50%, etc) should send respective CC4 values too.
Frequency control is a great addition!
Fantastic work as always, Ralph. Thanks! |

Some small details:
1) Buttons close, presets, load, save and remove don't always reset their appearance (pressed / unpressed);
2) I can't see where to setīstay on topī option.
Also, maybe for future builds:
1) A separate button to open subhosted plugin interface;
2) A skin with little more contrast between the cell kit pieces and the background.
Thanks. |

*EDIT: fixed*
I've loaded up the RC1 and it says "RCI" on the bottom of the screen, but the new drummers aren't available.

My JS3 beta expired today!
What am I going to do until Wednesday?
I feel the pangs of withdrawal already!
Oh, install the latest beta? Too simple!
(I'll install the latest beta. Never mind) |

hiya,
I just updated to the RC1 download, so far it's great and stable except for one thing.
If I select Carmine as the Drummer he doesn't play any hi-hats even though they are in the bar editor, mousing over sounds the hits but when I click the loop through bar or play I only get Kick and Snare.
I haven't tried all styles but have gone through the rock styles and no hats to be heard (Even though they are seen) |

Is your power knob set too low? Do you get red Xs over the hat notes? _________________ Ralph Zeuner

I think I've figured what was up but don't understand why.
The Default setting of ALL for HiHat shank doesn't produce any sound (even the Green midi light only comes on for snare and Kick) Changing this setting brings back the hats. |

That's a bug. It should route to standard hats if shank samples are not available. The new JS3 kits have shank samples so it's not an issue there but this will be fixed soon. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
