Hi guys

not sure if im doing something wrong, or missing something here but...

is it possible, if starting from scratch, to
1. create new part, say 4 x 4 bars starting at bar 1
2. manually enter kicks, snare (groove) etc into bar 1 including weights
3. choose 'turn groove into a style'

Im expecting then ALL bars to be composed using the manual kicks, snares I inputed into bar 1, but only the first bar of each repetition (ie 1,5,9,13) plays anything like it.

Am I getting bar/groove mixed up or something?

Cheers!

If you are doing a 4x4 part then you have 4 core bars. Since you only edited the first one you will get the silence in the other 3 bars per rep.

If your groove is a one-bar groove, then choose '1' when asked by 'Turn Groove Into Style' about the length instead of '4'.

Alternatively, edit the first 4 bars as needed and then turn into a style.
