| great drum mix in this tune... the vocal might be a little hot, but I am no expert... fantastic blues arrangement and all around good tune. |

Fantastic sound and song!
How much of the drums are hand edited? Or is it just a straight up Jam on JS? |

Great track! Is that all you?
Small critique; I was listening on some decent 'consumer' speakers and found the cymbals too present half of the time. The rest of the drums and mix sit quite nicely.
IMO, of course!
Cheers! |

This song is like a pint of beer that someone gives to you. Several things are self-evident, like
- beer is good
- it should be followed with another beer¨
- no-one can live with beer alone, but there's no point in thinking that right now.
If you create music like this in your bedroom studio, you should stop now (at least for a while) and go somewhere where there are people and you can play directly to them. It would be much better if you had a band.
With this kind of music you shall be able to connect to the people easily, but not very deeply. If I were drinking beer on my pub and somebody would start to play this, I would get another beer too, surely. It would be the right thing to do. But I probably would not buy the CD or go out to youtube checking them out. I would not be connecting to them in the same way I would when they were playing in the same room, feeling like I do, sharing my mood or me sharing their mood.
I would also check out if they are the houseband and playing there on the next friday also.
just my associations...

Sorry I've not replied earlier but I didn't get any reply notifications
There was some some manual drum editing but the main rhythms are JS.I'll try and tame the cymbals.May have had too much high shelf on my Master Fader FX chain in Reaper.
Yes it's all me.For this genre I like making the vocals a little hot/distorted as I like to add a bit,"Dirt".One of the problems with digital recording is that it's too clear some times IMHO and thus loses some musical qualities depending on the style. |
