|
|
Tested with SSD 3.5 using Kontakt 3 and Jamstix 2.53 Beta 14. Whenever there's a cymbal choke triggered by Jamstix all room mics in all SSD sets are being turned off. I tested with a fresh reinstall because I changed the ini a while ago to see if I could use the Slate cymbal chokes.
Is there a way to prevent the mics from being turned off? |

That sounds more like an SSD issue? All Jamstix does is send a MIDI key to SSD. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

| the MIDI note sent is C-2. Obviously that turns room mics off. I don't know if that can be changed in SSD. Is there a way to edit the ini file to change the choke note to a different note? |

Slate 3.5 has issues with how Jamstix handles cymbal chokes, so I don't think we can use them right now. Sadly, the SSD mappings send out cymbal chokes on just the right note to have Slate kill all the room mics.
I just added a MIDI note filter between JS and Kontakt in my Reaper template to block out #0. Sucks that I can't have any chokes, but the problem is gone. |
