Hi,
I have purchased some Ocean Way, Drum Masters 2, and Steven Slate drum kits for hosting in JS3. They all sound awesome, but the hosted kits lack some of the stylistic realism of the native kits (which are also quite awsome, btw).
I'm not sure that I am able to explain correctly, but the hosted snare rolls (and flams?), and hats just aren't as expressive. Is there something that I can do to get hosted drums pieces to sound as "intricate" as the XL kit pieces?
Thanks in advance,
G |

Check all key mappings and make sure every available articulation of the external kit is used. For example: see if there is a drag snare articulation and, if so, assign it to 'Snare Bounce' in JS. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Hm. I've looked at one of the SSD kits, but I'm not sure how to determine key mapping to articulation. Can anyone who has done this offer some guidance?
Thanks in advance,

NM, I found the key mapping in SSD's forum.
Thanks again,
