|
|
I get the best results by moving faders and knobs of JS brain while playing the song.
Sometimes its a bit too much to handle for one guy with one mouse.
So is there a possibility to automate knobs (like snare ghosts,etc...)
And is there a possibility to edit the brain while looping only the one part
(not bar) of the song , say Verse2, so i can hear what I´m tweaking atm.
Thanks in advance |

You can right-click on many controls and map them to a MIDI controller for automation.
You can loop the host over a part to edit. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Thanks Ralph, next question appeared
Example: I choose JS Classic/Machine as style/drummer and remove kick and snare. Set the remaining hihat style to 16th dual and play.
Doesn`t matter whether I´m moving the power or hh-open knobs manually or by (recorded/drawn) cc messages, I always get a short drop-out after a change.
Can you reproduce that ?
I´m on Reaper btw.
EDIT: Not after every change, seems to happen every now and then... |

Try this:
- add the following line to the [General] section of jamstix3.ini
REAPERBypass=1
Reload JS and see if the problem is gone. Please note that you MUST use the CTRL key when saving a project in REAPER with this setting active. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
