|
|
We found a bug in Jamstix 2.5.2 (and earlier) that can cause JS2 to crash when it receives a MIDI controller event with a channel greater than 2. A fix will be provided soon.
It appears that this affects Sonar x64 users even if they don't use such events. If you are using JS2 with Sonar x64 and experience JS2 crashes, please email us so we can provide you a test Build with the fix. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Ralph, forgive my ignorance: Are you saying that we should be able to run JS2 under Sonar 64 bit? I'm having problems with JS2 in Sonar 6 32 bit.

Hey Ralph,
Been experimenting with Win 7 with and Sonar 64-bit......The VST scan when Sonar first loads hangs on the JS2 .dll....I have to end the process (VST scan) then Sonar Loads, but without JS2, or any VST's that follow it.
Don't know if this will help any.

JS2 should run under Sonar/64. Some users have issues when installing Paks that way so we recommend you use a 32-bit host for the Pak installs.
srrvnnt: is your JS2 install activated? does it run in 32-bit hosts? _________________ Ralph Zeuner

It looks like its hanging in "Bitbridge". I have quite a few plugs, and JS2 seems to be the only one doing this in the VST scan at Sonar startup......I have not been able to try it in 8.5 yet (finances)....Cakewalk says Bitbridge has been greatly improved in their latest version....perhaps someone else with 8.5 could verify this.

I'm running SONAR 8.5.1 PE 64 bit on Win 7.
Using JS 2.5.3 Beta 12 I'm able to load JS2.
I can't seem to get those Slate drumkits to install, however.
I'm trying to install using 32 bit SONAR. |
