Changes From 2.5.2
- fixed load/save dialog issues under Windows 7
- fixed 'mute fills' not working
- fixed bug causing crash when receiving a MIDI controller event with a channel greater than 2
- fixed above bug causing crashes in Sonar x64 even without an explicit controller being sent
- fixed 'Copy Style To All Parts' and 'Copy Drummer To All Parts' not working properly
- added kits for Steven Slate Drums 3.5
- added EZDrummer import mode to fix some closed hat import errors
- fixed some liveloop projects not loading
- fixed parts not looping infinitely in liveloop mode

The 'mute fills' is performing as it should now as far as I can see. Nice.
I think the 'Copy Drummer To All Parts' is OK now. But the 'Copy Style To All Parts' is still a bit wayward. It'll copy the style to some parts but not to all the parts in a song. Don't know how it chooses to copy what to where. Also it doesn't copy the accent settings correctly. |

I'm having problems with this beta loading song that works fine under 2.5.2
Under this beta it fails to load at all. It uses a midi import style.
This is a serious bug, if so, as I may not be able to load some of my performance tracks.
I can't see anything in the log file though.
I just reverted back to 2.5.2 and the same song now loads fine, so this is something to do with the beta.
After reverting I also did get an error on loading of my project that said this file needs 2.5.3 to load?
Are you changing the file format? |

Actually I'm still getting the previously reported UI errors with 2.5.2 now.
The strange thing is if a hit sequencer play and stop, it clears the UI and now allows me to see the groove parameters.
As mentioned in previous thread this is related to live loops somehow, as when I load a song that does not have live loops enabled it seems to load ok without the UI errors.

Yeah, I'm getting the same. Jamstix just won't appear. Total failure to load anything.

edit: It's back!!  Samplitude had screwed up the VSTi scan. |

Hello, I'm in the process of installing all my software for SONAR 8.5 PE Win 7 64 bit.
Q: Do I need to install 2.5.2 THEN install this beta version or will the beta version include any 2.5.2 fixes?

Please install 2.5.2 and then replace the DLL with the 2.5.3 Beta.

Tip:I always rename my present jamstix .dll by adding the word old to it just in case.Then I know which one I've installed.
