| Gudday Ralph and crew. Does anyone know if it's possible to disable limbs in JS2? I'm thinking I want a one armed drummer for a song (maybe with the Animal drummer, lol). |

Gudday.
In the drum matrix editor, below the brain there's the limb abbreviations on the left. LH, RH, etc. Right click on them and the "mute limbs" options will appear.

No, it was for an Iron Musician challenge where the theme was "One Hand Only"
Well, I tried disabling the left/right limbs and found that if I disabled one, I wouldn't get any hi-hats, and if I disabled the other I wouldn't get snare. I was sorta hoping that I'd get hat-hat-snare-hat pattern or something but I'm guessing it's not intelligent enough to say "I need a proper beat even though I'm missing an arm" and adapt accordingly. Certainly, Animal would be capable of it! |

The limb mute feature is designed so you can mute the notes while you are working on other limbs or to 'drop' an arm like some drummers will do for a bar.
The way the A.I. works, it would be easy to add a mode where it has to compensate for "loss" of a limb. Not sure how many would need this function, though? _________________ Ralph Zeuner
