I have been playing with the demo. I am really happy with Jamstix, and the price.
I am using Nuendo/Cubase and am able to automate virtually all the parameters I could want to, but don't see the option to trigger fills, intros and endings, have I missed them?
If version 1 does not include provision for automating these parameters, could this be considered for inclusion in a future update?
Anyway love Jamstix and will be buying regardless.

Hi CAH,
very good idea and we'll put it right on the list. It may even still make it into the 1.0 since it is a contained feature.
Thanks again! _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Thanks for pre-ordering!
I can also confirm now that MIDI automation of intro/fill/ending will be in the 1.0 release. It will be a single parameter called 'Mode (Normal,Intro,Fill,Ending)'. You just have to make sure you set the value you want "a tad" before the bar where you want it since data selection occurs right at tick 0 of each bar.

Your williningness and ability to respond to user suggestions is impressive.
I thank you for including this aditional functionality in Version 1. I am sure many other users will also find it useful.
From your answer to another post I can see that my only other wish for the product looks like it will also be included in Version 1 too (i.e. multiple bar midi import).
This thing just gets better and better.
I wish you every success with it.

I also have this feeling about reading all the posts. I've started coming here daily to learn as much as I can about Jamstix. It's nice to feel you're getting in on the ground floor of something (not counting all the work you did before we even knew what Jamstix was). It's great to know that your opinions are heard, and acted on when possible (which seems to be often).
Still haven't pre-ordered, but soon enough I will... _________________ Rock softly and carry a big stick. Wait, what am I saying? Don't Rock softly. - Rock Churchill |
