Hello,
thanx for your fast response:
If I for example load the "Brush Kit (XL)" there are 8 sounds missing:
Chimes Fast
Cowbell
Egg Shaker
Jam Block Hi
Jam Block Lo
Kick-JS2 Standart
Shaker
and Tambourine
Whe I load the Jamstix 2 - Disco (XL) then there are even 28 sounds missing:
For example:
Chimes Fast
China- 14"B8 Pro JS2
and many others
"BonzoPak - Gated": 6 sounds missing
Chimes Fast
Egg Shaker
Jam Block Hi
Jam Block Lo
Shaker
and Tambourine
Thank you very much,

It looks as if JS2 stock kit and XL Pak are not, or not fully, installed. Please rerun the JS2 stock kit and the XL Pak installers via 'Install Pak' and when finished send me the file rzdlog.txt from the Jamstix 2 folder right away so I can review the installation log. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Yes, you can move the folder around so it is in the plugin search path of FL or you can change the path in FL. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

|
|
Greetings,
Here's my odd problem.
I launch FL8, I load Jamstix into a channel, I load a song, I hit "Play" on FL8, the Jamstix lights flash, the song tracks along, but I hear nothing.
However - if I toggle to "Kit" and hit the drums with my cursor - I hear them!
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks for any help!

Do the Jamstix bar/beat counters advance in synch with FL8? _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Does it advance past bar 1? If not then you must set FL to song mode so it plays a whole song. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

OK, on a lark (thinking about how RealGuitar is triggered) I put a triggering bar (MIDI signal?) on the Jamstix channel piano roll way down at G0 and now the Jamstix plays.
Is this the proper note position or should I put my triggering impulse somewhere else? |

Update - looks like I have to fill in FL's song piano roll with playlist clips running the entire length of the song to get Jamstix to advance past bar 1 in song mode and play the whole song ...
Thanks for quick response! |

Just to clariify - I removed the playlist clips from the Jamstix channel in the song piano roll, and instead inserted some piano tracks on their own channel. Again, Jamstix worked perfectly and plays the song.
So perhaps somewhere it should be noted that Jamstix will not play in FL in Jam mode if the FL song piano roll is completely empty? Or am I stating the obvious and should have known better?
Anyway, thanks again for the quick help. |

|
|
Hi-
JS 3.0.2, FLS 9 (also happens with the 9.6 beta)
This happens in FLS 9 and the 9.6 beta, but not in REAPER or SONAR (same JS song file). Nearly every hit gets X-ed out as the song plays unless I uncheck "Enable Limb Controls". The status bar shows reasons like "Transition time from snare side" even if the instrument is the snare side and the hits are on beats 3 & 4, for example.
I'd prefer to leave "Enable Limb Controls" checked, but it's hard to work on the song with so many hits being "skipped" (they do sound, even though they're being X-ed out).
The same song file plays as expected with just a few notes X-ed out in SONAR and REAPER.
Has anyone seen this? BTW, I have "Smart disable" disabled in the wrapper options.
Thanks-
-Susan |

Please go to JS3 Options and reset the limb timing settings. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
