Just a snippet of the basic tone I'm working with. I've tried different snares, this is the Reknown unmuffled. I'm thinking it's just a bit too forward and clean. What do you think - should I replace it or compress/EQ it? And timing-wise? I've had to mess around with individual track latency, trying to match recorded guitars & bass with Jamstix in Live (which seems to get wrong latency reports from both my interface and Jamstix, at least Live's own automatic latency compensation didn't groove well).
