Hey All,
Is there a 64 bit Jamstix here now or in our near future?
I use Vista 64 bit.
Cubase 5, 32 bit. (the only reason I did this is to use Jamstix)
My interface drivers are 64 bit.
The problem is nasty clicks n crackles during recording and playback. Yes I've jiggered with all the things to reduce the problem. Nothing seems to work.
I believe that having a 64 bit system with 32 bit Cubase is a bad combo.
Anyone here doing the same thing I am??
Peace,
John |

Please send me rzdlog.txt from My Documents\Jamstix2 for review.
A 64-bit version is planned for the future but not in the near term. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Not at all. 32-bit cubase with Vista-64 is about the most stable combo I've ever worked with. There are many on the Cubase forum with similar results.
If you do want to move to 64-bit Cubase, then you may want to try JBridge (in place of the built-in bridge cubase supplies) to connect to your 32-bit plug. I haven't tried it yet, but its gotten a lot of praise from others.

| I actually tried Jbridge with JS3 in Sonar 8.5.3 win 7 64 bit. However the GUI disappeared on me so I backed off. |

Please un-check 'Cache GUI' in JS3 Options to fix this. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
