I loaded a drum into Perc Drum 3, as in the following screenshot.
So far, so good.
When I clicked the Sound area (the triangle and ear) for any of the 8 drums I heard the drum sound. Is this intended? If so, how would I use it, as the other drums do not have theother controls available (Key ... Tun)?
Secondly, is there any way to get the name of the loaded drum into the Sound name (instead of Drum 3)? That would make using the drums in a host where the drum names can be seen much easier. Or perhaps that should be a Feature Request? |

The reason you here the same drum when auditing the other sounds is Jamstix' unique auto-routing feature. If a sound is not loaded, Jamstix uses rules to determine a suitable replacement sound that is currently loaded. This is on-the-fly and does not affect the sound assignment in the arrangement. It is like a drummer who is told to hit Tom 4 and can't find it so he hits Tom 5 instead.
The sound naming is on the to-do list. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
