|
|
I'm wondering if there is a quicker way to correct improper mappings.
My percussion section in my latest project is off. What I've been doing is going to the individual instruments and changing the + - keys. For instance my tamborine is actual a splash, so I keep hitting the +/- to search for a tamborine.
Is there a quicker way to do this...say a list of notes and corresponding keys for kits?
Hope that makes sense,
Paul |

Use the kit menu in the 'Kit window', which has a Show Keys function. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Thanks Ralph, I found it.
The keys look like they are the right ones.
For some reason they are all giving the proper sounds except percussion (even with the right keys selected). I tried loading different kits, but it does the same thing with each kit. Percussion is giving either cymbals or tom sounds. Any tips on what to check?
Thanks,
Paul
ps I'm using superior with jamstix |

So you are trying to trigger a percussion sound in Superior? _________________ Ralph Zeuner

It appears that the only percussion that comes with the default kit is a cowbell. I think that means I will have to buy one of the other kits if I want a tambourine... |

Alternatively, you could use Jamcussion in Jamstix for the percussion part and Superior for the drum part via MIDI out. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
