BitFlipper, which specific knob causes you this problem? We can't duplicate it here. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

This is a repost from a few months ago, see here: http://rayzoon2.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4316&highlight=
Steps to reproduce:
1. Ensure you have a Jamstix song that has multiple parts
2. Open the kit view
3. Right-click on any instrument to edit it
4. Press play in your host
5. Click and hold the left mouse button as if to modify one of the parameters like "Vol" or "Pan".
6. Wait for the Jamstix song position to cross from one part to the next (while holding the mouse button down)
7. After the next part started, release the mouse button.
Result:
The mouse cursor is now invisible, no matter where you move it within Jamstix or the host, or any other window that belongs to the host. Moving it outside to the desktop or to a non-host owned window will make it visible again, but move it back and it becomes invisible again.
The only way to recover from this is to carefully "hunt" for the host's close button (it will highlight when the invisible cursor is over it), then using the keyboard to select "Yes" when asked to save any changes, and then close and re-open the host again. Or to use the keyboard shortcut to close the host. _________________ Intel DX48BT2, Core 2 Quad Q9450 @ 2.66GHz, 8GB DDR3, Edirol FA-66, Studio One 2, Sonar X3e x64, JS 3.6.0, Windows 8.1 Pro x64 |

I am surprised. I can duplicate it 100% of the time. _________________ Intel DX48BT2, Core 2 Quad Q9450 @ 2.66GHz, 8GB DDR3, Edirol FA-66, Studio One 2, Sonar X3e x64, JS 3.6.0, Windows 8.1 Pro x64 |

Bit Flip I tried to reproduce this but what I found was a different manifestation of unexpected behavior. I am running sonar 8.3.1 x64 so that could be a difference.
When I follow your recipe I once I click and hold the parameter in js my mouse cursor disappears. I keep holding it down till the transition to the next part and it reappears. Then when I release the mouse button JS acts as if I have not released it and the parameter moves when I move the mouse. Once I click again on the parameter JS releases the mouse and things return to normal.
I have not had this cause me any trouble before but there is defiantly something going on when the mouse is held down to modify the kit parameters during playback and especially when passing over the boundary to another part. _________________ Tom |

I see this also. Sometimes when changing the volume or pan on a drum or cymbal, after releasing the left mouse button,. It gets stuck like I never lifted the mouse button and continues to adjust the pan or volume when I move the mouse around. I have to shut down the project (REAPER) and re-start to get it to work normally. |

I think we finally figured that one out. Just released Beta 8 with a fix. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Just installed JS2 2.5.1 release (no kits), replaced DLL with 2.5.2 beta 8.
Scans and loads without no problems in REAPER 3.06 here.

- Mario | Try loading Middle East Preset in REAPER 3.06, please tell me what happens.
Went back to JS2 Beta 7 and all is fine. |
